Square 1 Service

We have just created Square 1 Service and we hope to raise a lot of money. Our goals are listed below.

About James

Hello! I'm James Abreu. I'm in a service group Square 1 Service.

I joined because I feel like that everyone should be able to have a hobby in or out of school thats productive and educates the mind. I take a interest in model railroading, gaming, and writing.

About Nick

I am happy to help the students that can't afford to go on trips or join clubs because I have it so well but some other kids don't have it as well as me and I want to try my hardest to make a difference. In my spare time I enjoy playing with my little brother and I also enjoy playing video games.

About Wilson

Hi! I'm Wilson Gramer. I'm in the Seventh Grade and am an avid writer, musician, and computer coder. I am also the author of The River and just published a new book, Rockets, Drums, and Other Things I'm Not Afraid to Publish. I'm proud to be part of a group that will help students in our own school community.

About Ian

I am in Square 1 Service because I hope to help those who aren't as fortunate as me. our goal is to try and get scholarship money for those who can't join extracurricular. I am an avid reader and gamer. I love to hang out with my friends and family.

Our Goal

OUR LONG-TERM “SMART” GOAL... (Created at the beginning of the year)
S	pecific - We want to raise money for scholarships for students who cannot join extra-cirricular activities.
M	easurable - We want to raise at least $100 for these scholarships.
A	ttainable - We will hold various events, with a fee, in which all profits go towards the scholarships.
R	easonable - We will hold at least three events throughout the course of the service project.
T	imely - We will hold these events once every two months.
WHAT WE ENDED UP DOING...
S	pecific - We raised money for scholarships for students who cannot join curricular activities.
M	easurable - We exceeded our $100 goal, and ended up with $137 in sales!
A	ttainable - We held a School Store, in which all profits went towards the scholarships.
R	easonable - We only held this one event throughout the course of the service project.
T	imely - We held the School Store every day.
